Poeta is hands down the best all-day Italian restaurant in East Austin. Here’s why they are on the SNOOTI approved list. Though we might be a little biased.
#1. We teamed up with Poeta Italian Restaurant to host an intimate dinner and wine experience called After Dark.
I told you we might be a little biased. If you didn’t hear about it, After Dark was the first of many SNOOTI curated intimate wine and dine events in Austin. An elevated wine tasting and dining all-night affair. Featuring Italian wines from boutique producers paired with a custom chef’s menu four-course meal and so much more. You can experience the event recap here.
#2. This Italian restaurant is located only minutes from Downtown Austin inside The Francis Modern Inn.
Whether you’re just in town for the night, or looking for new areas to explore near East Austin, Poeta Italian Restaurant is just minutes from downtown Austin. They’re located inside The Francis Modern Inn on the historic 11th Street.
#3. It was created by award winning chefs. And we can tell!
Poeta Italian Restaurant was created by award winning chefs, Krystal Craig, Ian Thurwachter, and Kevin Donovan, who truly know how to present a meal. Not only does each plate look incredible, but the taste far surpasses. But don’t just take our word for it, experience Poeta for yourself!
A little fun fact: Did you know that Chef’s Krystal Craig and Ian Thurwachter were the brainchild behind their famous restaurant Intero on the east side? This is actually their second restaurant.
#4. Their selection of regional Italian wines from boutique producers.
When we’re not curating the wine list, Poeta has a fabulous selection of regional Italian wines from boutique producers to check out. And if you can leave remembering just one thing about us, it’s that we love our small wine producers! It’s a huge piece of what makes our exclusive wine tasting experiences what they are.
